Who are we? My name is Max. I attended the Haifa School of Ministry in Israel in 2005. In 2007 I was blessed with the opportunity to Visit Zambia in Africa where I was allowed to speak and witness to different congregations. I was also blessed with the opportunity to Publish RushOur, in 2017. I had never written a book before and I attribute all of the experiences in its publication to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I began bible study courses with the Berean School of the Bible at Global University online studies in 2004. It is now 2026 and I have continued my studies with Global University.
Yes, it has taken me the last twenty-two years to attempt to complete this three-year study course.
This blog began with a simple invitation to participate in a weekly bible study. I have been attending a Foursquare Church in Northern California when one of the pastors invited me to attend. After several months of searching the meaning of random scripture verses, it became so fulfilling and rewarding. We actually began to invite other individuals to attend and participate with their own study of the verse of the day. We began with other pastors from our same church. The extra eyes on scripture and the experience they would bring was immense.
Since I would be including the insights of others in my blog, I thought it would be different and interesting to place a (Simon says) where someone other than I would be giving their input on a certain scripture verse. I decided on (Simon says) because in the game of (Simon Says) It is the voice to listen to. Usually, this person’s experience and knowledge of the scripture is more mature than that of my own.
Gatheredinthedebth, was based on Matthew 18:20 (For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.)
I believe that time spent in God’s word is the most important and powerful endeavor a person can pursue in our God given life.
